UPCOMING WORKSHOP: RITUAL POWER & PLEASURE WITH FLOWERS

Surrender to your senses, as we warm desires and intuition, with arranging and imbuing fresh local flowers with powerful intentions for fall. In other words, join us for a hearthful candlelit equinox eve of floral totem making, working with
vases, over tea, at Blue Willow Tea, in Berkeley, CA.

OUR GUIDING VALUES

  • We honor dance as a sacred practice that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit across time, by allowing us to delve into ancestral wisdom. Dance is for healing, connecting, and celebrating life’s joys and challenges.

  • We hold space for transformative creative expression aimed at reverential symbiosis between Earth, marginalized communities, and societal power.

  • We experiment with pleasure and play as pathways to coaxing our collective imaginations towards positive shifts–bodily and psychic liberation from ingrained negative societal programming. We value the restorative and sustaining power of the erotic

  • We cultivate inclusive community along shared value lines including empowering and supporting women, queer, black, aapi, allies, and any marginalized creative voices.

  • We embracing the ephemeral present and find rest in shadows as a keystone of life’s ritual.

  • Radical love and kindness towards ourselves, others, and the futures we commit to dreaming, imagining, and being.

LAST PERFORMANCE:
THE SECRET LIFE OF FLOWERS

The Secret Life of Flowers was a surrealist floral art showcase and play—a viscerally intimate and transformative evening of theatrical storytelling, liberation, and empowerment. It centered a surrealist array of literal and metaphorical flowers alongside queer, BIPOC, and AAPI dance rituals, experimental soundscapes, and
earthenware art.
